Key Account Manager (power segment) - Based in HCMC – Salary negotiation (40M gross +)

Our Client, a big Company specializing on  coatings field are looking for Key Account Manager (power segment) -  Based in HCMC – Salary negotiation (40M gross +):
·         Manages business relationships with nominated employer’s Key Accounts (customers and prospects) in the Power Generation market within the South Asia region (specifically Malaysia, Vietnam and Myanmar) to maximize our potential and optimize our ability to secure projects both Domestic and Export. The accounts for which the Key Account Manager is responsible make centralized, complex purchasing decisions and drive sales in South Asia and other regions or SMUs.
·         Coordinate with Sales team to develop and implement Key Account and project strategy to achieve results as well as specific ambitions.
Job Description:
·         Identifies and follows up on business opportunities, pinpoints the existing and/or potential problems and arranges for their resolution. Aims to secure favorable specification position both in corporate standards and project specific documents.
·         Develops and manages strong relationships with existing key customers and assigned prospects (Power Generation Owners, Engineering companies, EPCs and OEMs).
·         Develops and maintains regular contact with assigned existing and potential customers at various levels e.g. specification writer, engineering, project management, construction, QC & procurement
·         Performs continuous market research and maintains professional relationships within the Power Generation industry.
·         Leads and supports sales colleagues around the world in bidding for and securing projects within the key accounts and their subcontractors, specifically in the areas of corrosion and fire protection, including input into pricing strategy.
Main Management responsibilities:
·         Support sales team by providing training, coaching and opportunities for further growth
·         Follows company policy and acts according to all HSE and compliance regulations
·         Proactively manages own activity and associated costs e.g. travel and expenses
·         Produces management reports on projects, accounts and progress against budget as requested
Job Requirement:
·         The ideal candidate will be an experienced sales person ideally with a background working within the paint or power generation industry.
·         Commercially aware with the ability to identify customer needs and requirements and develop
·         innovative account strategies
·         Self-motivated with the capacity to lead and influence non direct reports
·         An excellent communicator; both written and verbal with good presentation, networking and
·         interpersonal skills
·         Able to work well with others to deliver team results
·         Able to develop relationships at all levels both with clients and internally working in a multi-cultural
·         environment
·         A good decision maker with planning and organizational skills
·         Able to work under the pressure of deadlines
·         Results orientated, able to keep focused and motivated when challenges occur
·         Please note the role will require frequent international travel and a full drivers license
Level of Autonomy:
·         Creates and executes agreed key account plans for designated customers
·         Makes decisions to achieve key account strategy in line with business objectives.
